They would often get questions from friends, family, and community members regarding solutions and tools for their projects. Realising  that people considered them as subject matter experts. It felt natural to go to the next step and share their knowledge online and provide practical advice to everyone. As the building and DIY space is vast, finding somewhere to start was a daunting task, so they decide to start sharing their knowledge with the basics first. For every project, you need some tools. But then the questions came. What tools do people need advice on? There was plenty of advice out there on standard tools.

As a growing niche that’s evolving and getting better every year, with new technological advances in battery power and capacity and improved designs entering the market every year, cordless power tools were an area where manufacturers’ claims and design features needed some scrutiny. The scrutiny required was from people with expert knowledge that could sift through the good, bad, and ugly.
